Birth Parents - Considerations and Actions

To help you think about how your life change will affect you, review the following list.

The changes available to you, and the deadline for making changes, depend on your situation.

If your spouse has employer-provided coverage, compare plans to see which coverage best suits your family's needs.

Phillips 66 is dedicated to offering support to employees expanding their families through birth and adoption. Through our partnership with Awardco, parents will receive customized care packages to celebrate and assist with the addition to their family.

Eligible employees with a birth or adoption event will receive customized care packages. Once the event date has been reported to HR Connections, a care package will be sent to your home address on file. Each care package will include Phillips 66 branded merchandise and points toward select items through the Awardco platform. As you prepare for the new addition to your family, make sure your address is updated in My HR Tools.

Consider if you'll need to contribute or increase contributions to the Health Care and Dependent Care FSAs.

Back-up family care for children and adults is provided by Bright Horizons for employees whose regular caregiver is unavailable.

Ensure you and your family have the coverage that meets your needs. If you already have child life or child AD&D insurance, your new child is automatically covered. Consider if you need to elect child life or AD&D insurance.

With a new family member, it's a good idea to ensure your beneficiary designations are current.
